Tímea Mester-Takács

Tímea Mester-Takács is CIVICA coordinator at Central European University, supporting the management of the European University of Social Sciences from the side of CEU. She joined Academic Cooperation and Research Support Office in 2023 and took over the coordination responsibilities in the second phase of the alliance. 

Prior to working at CEU Tímea had been working at Tempus Public Foundation – Hungarian national agency for education – for ten years, dealing with internationalisation activities and education development projects in higher education in the framework of EU-funded and governmental projects (2012-2023). She held positions which gave her wide professional experience in the Hungarian and generally the European Higher Education Area. Parallel to her job she worked as a freelance journalist and content manager.
